Emapta Reports Outsourcing Now Drives Workforce Transformation

Emapta

Emapta confirmed today that a new study shows 94% of business leaders now view outsourcing as essential for effective workforce transformation efforts. Besides, 67% of surveyed leaders indicated that an outsourcing partner’s AI readiness is the most important feature when making & selection.

The Everest Group report, supported by Emapta, shows that outsourcing has shifted from cost savings to a key driver of strategy. The majority of companies (60%) are currently outsourcing at least three business functions. In addition, eight of ten companies plan to maintain or even increase their outsourcing levels over the next eighteen months. Furthermore, almost half of the enterprises (44%) extend their outsourcing relationship to AI adoption and employee engagement with AI tools. Such a move clearly shows the increasing need for AI-ready staff that can support tech and data-driven initiatives.

Nevertheless, the study also points to several obstacles that have been around for quite some time. Challenges include inconsistent talent quality at fifty percent, managing multiple providers at forty-three percent, and coordination issues across time zones.

Outsourcing Strengthens Workforce Transformation as AI-Ready Staffing Gains Momentum

Moreover, more than one-third of the respondents have stated that their greatest challenge is the alignment of processes across their global locations. Consequently, nearly 50% of all the surveyed organizations have implemented a dedicated staffing model in their outsourced operations. Another 35% of them are going to consider this model within the next 18 months. The most common functions that are being outsourced are IT, engineering, finance, marketing, and data analytics.

Executives are of the opinion that dedicated staffing allows them to have better control, transparency, and cultural alignment. Besides, it provides support in the management of global teams so they can effectively meet the new AI and digital requirements. In sum, the results of the study are indicative of a continuous transformation in outsourcing. Firms now view outsourcing as a strategic workforce tool, strengthened by AI-ready staffing, flexible models, global talent access, and Emapta.
