Finmo Names Josh D’Ambrosio as Chief Commercial Officer

Chief Commercial Officer

Finmo’s Chief Commercial Officer appointment signals a major step in the company’s global expansion strategy. Finmo has appointed Josh D’Ambrosio as the Chief Commercial Officer of the company. He will be responsible for driving commercial success and customer acquisitions in all markets. Furthermore, he will also develop the company’s go-to-market engine globally.

Josh D’Ambrosio is joining at an important time of growth for the company. The recent licensing achievements of Finmo in Dubai, the UK, and Hong Kong SAR mean that its regulatory footprint now includes eight active jurisdictions. Josh will help improve the company’s commercial capabilities, in line with this development. He will also help improve partnerships and the adoption of the Finmo Treasury Operating System.

Finmo Expands Global Strategy with New CCO Appointment

Josh has more than ten years of experience in the world of fintech and digital payments. Before joining Finmo, Josh was the Chief Commercial Officer at Banxa. At Banxa, Josh grew the business from a start-up to a B2B fintech infrastructure platform. This company was later acquired by OSL Group. Prior to that, Josh had worked at Ernst and Young in risk and compliance advisory. The hiring of Finmo’s Chief Commercial Officer shows the firm’s aspirations to be a leader in fintech infrastructure.  Furthermore, the company aims to deliver integrated treasury and payment solutions globally.

“We have spent the last four years building the regulatory foundation and product infrastructure that positions Finmo to grow at scale across multiple markets simultaneously. Josh understands what it takes to build and lead revenue functions in multi-jurisdictional environments where compliance, product, and commercial strategy have to move in lockstep” said David Hanna, CEO and Co-founder at Finmo. “His appointment marks the beginning of a new chapter for Finmo, and I could not be more confident in the person leading it.”

For Josh D’Ambrosio, Chief Commercial Officer at Finmo, the commercial opportunity is as clear as the problem it addresses: “Finmo is solving a problem that every CFO scaling across borders eventually runs into: the infrastructure they started with was never built for the complexity they are now managing. What excites me about this opportunity is that Finmo is not just building a better payment tool or a smarter dashboard. It is defining a new category of infrastructure, a Treasury Operating System that connects cash visibility, payments, and forecasting into one layer, and doing it in a way that is genuinely accessible to mid-market finance teams. My focus will be on bringing that story to the right partners and customers, and building the commercial engine to match the ambition of what the product team has already built.”
