Wood Partners has strengthened its South Florida leadership team by appointing Micah Conn as Managing Director. Conn will lead Wood Partners’ multifamily development efforts across the South Florida region.
Conn will be responsible for the origination, entitlements, design, capitalization, and construction management. Furthermore, he will direct all development initiatives from their inception to completion.

Conn has over 20 years of experience developing multifamily and mixed-use communities. Over the years, he has completed many projects in the South Florida region. Prior to his association with Wood Partners, Conn was senior vice president of development for AvalonBay Communities. In this role, he started up and managed the company’s Southeast Florida development efforts.
Micah Conn Brings Extensive Development Experience
He was responsible for the sourcing, rights, development, and stabilization of the projects from inception to delivery. Prior to joining Conn, he worked as the Regional Vice President of Investments of Gables Residential. He managed all the company’s investments in Florida in this role.
Conn is holder of Master of Science in Construction Management degree awarded by Florida International University. Besides, he holds Bachelors of Arts degree from University of Florida. In addition, Conn is licensed as Florida Certified General Contractor. On the other hand, Wood Partners keeps expanding its multifamily developments throughout the country.

New multi-family communities have been established by the firm in various key markets. Such markets include Texas, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, and Colorado. The new position of Conn will bolster the development capacities of Wood Partners in the South Florida region.
