HireVue is gaining momentum as skills-based hiring continues to reshape talent acquisition. The company reported strong first-half results driven by new customer growth and global expansion. Demand also increased for validated skills assessments and AI-powered hiring technology.
New customer bookings more than tripled during the first half of the year. Meanwhile, assessment bookings more than doubled compared with the previous year. The company also expanded its presence across U.S. and international markets.
Employers are increasingly moving beyond traditional hiring signals. Instead, they are focusing on validated skills, hiring science, and performance data. This shift helps companies identify candidates with capabilities linked to job success.
“Our first-half performance shows that organizations are fundamentally changing how they think about identifying talent,” said Jeremy Friedman, Chief Executive Officer at Hirevue. “The growth we’re seeing across new customers, assessments, and global markets tells us the shift to validated skills is durable and accelerating. Employers want AI they can trust and stand behind, and that is exactly what we build.”
HireVue Expands AI-Powered Hiring Solutions
On the other hand, the use of artificial intelligence keeps penetrating into the recruitment process. In this way, companies need technology to be transparent, reliable, and scientific. That is why HireVue introduced special tools that will allow for trusted and scientifically based recruitment decisions. HireVue introduced two products based on artificial intelligence in the first half of the year. Assessment Builder is a tool that helps in creating assessments in minutes based on validation research.
HireVue’s hiring science has been adopted into the realm of voice-enabled conversational AI and is known as AI Interviewer. This platform helps companies to select appropriate candidates on a mass scale and governs the hiring process.
“By leveraging AI-powered platforms and integrated data, TA teams can identify, attract, and engage top talent often before competitors even know those candidates are available. This proactive, data-driven approach enables organizations to respond quickly to changing business needs, seize new opportunities, and fuel growth from within,” said Stella Ioannidou, Senior Research Director at The Josh Bersin Company.
Also, HireVue was certified by the FedRAMP program for its advanced hiring solution. This means that it will be easier for HireVue to assist government agencies in the use of its hiring solution. Additionally, the company has expanded its presence in the Middle East through further deployment. However, the company has added new members to its executive committee.
“We have a strong core business, an expanding global footprint, and new products that significantly increase the markets and hiring challenges we can address,” Friedman added. “Adding Samir Gulati and Matt Foggett to our leadership team gives us even greater depth as we deliver on that for our customers.”
Samir Gulati and Matt Foggett joined HireVue as CMO and EVP of Worldwide Sales, respectively. They contribute to the growth and expansion of HireVue in the market. HireVue plans to continue investing in skills and AI recruiting tools. The firm aims to support businesses in making faster and better talent decisions.
