Pabau Agent Workforce Unveils AI Employees for Medical Practices

Pabau

Pabau Agent Workforce will be providing AI workers to medical and aesthetic clinics using role-based digital agents. This news was released by Pabau, the practice management system used by more than 3,500 practices.

There are four types of AI workers offered by the platform according to their roles in practice management. The AI Receptionist takes care of appointments during live calls and is also capable of rescheduling and cancelling appointments where necessary. Moreover, it also takes care of any out-of-hours calls or texts to missed callers, as well as rebooking no-shows.

AI Finance Specialist follows the sales ledger and reminds patients about overdue invoices. Also, AI contacts the patients about partially paid invoices with precise amounts due. Additionally, the agent offers a secure pay-by-link method for collecting payments.

AI Marketeer checks the practice website daily and its visibility in AI assistants. This AI is also answers the reviews and tries to get back in touch with patients who stopped visiting. AI Sales Specialist contacts those leads that were marked as lost before. It then passes the qualified responses to the practice team.

Approval-First Agentic Workflows

Practices can hire an agent in approximately five minutes. They can pick a role, share contact information, and give a name to it. They can also pick a face for agents that patients will be seeing while interacting. Since agents use data in a HIPAA-compliant environment by Pabau, practices don’t need to integrate anything else. Each agent starts with a training period before moving to independent work.

During the training period, agents create actions to get approval from practices before reaching out to patients. Practices can refuse drafts and leave comments to help each agent improve. Then, practices can give independence to each skill individually when the confidence level increases.

Initially, the number of skills used by agents is 41 across four types of agents. Practices can activate these skills individually. Additionally, there are 19 skills that will never run independently without a person. Also, agents are unable to automatically change patients’ records. Every action receives a log and a score against the practice’s records.

“Non-clinical roles carry high turnover, but the work still needs to get done every day,” said William Brandham, CEO. “We built agents a practice can genuinely trust. They draft, the practice approves, and every action leaves a record of who did what and when. Ask any AI vendor: ‘Show me the log.’ Ours can, for every action, from day one.”

Pabau Agent Workforce became available to Pabau customers starting in mid-September.
