The accounting and advisory firm Aprio has announced the appointment of Carolyn O’Boyle as Chief People Officer and Partner. Carolyn will be leading a workforce strategy ready for the future, which is directly aligned with the business goals of Aprio. To that end, she will have a firm of attracting top talent, performance acceleration, and career growth facilitation across the firm.
In her career past, Carolyn has been instrumental in leadership and major firms’ roles. She was Chief People Officer and Head of Strategy at Boston Beer Company. Before this role, she spent over 20 years at Deloitte, focusing on talent and people operations and ultimately becoming leader.
Aprio CEO Richard Kopelman claimed that her leadership would be a vehicle for exponential and transformational growth. He said Carolyn’s foresight and expertise would help build high-performing teams and deliver an excellent client experience. Carolyn is replacing Larry Sheftel who will be moving to Partner and HR Advisor role within Aprio Alliance Workforce Operations Team.
