Corelight Appoints Amanda Berger as Chief Customer Officer

Amanda Berger

Corelight has appointed Amanda Berger as Chief Customer Officer to strengthen its customer success strategy. The Chief Customer Officer appointment supports Corelight’s mission to improve customer experiences. Moreover, Berger will help scale the company’s network evidence platform for AI-driven security operations.

Berger is set to head the customer success division, according to Corelight. She will handle all aspects of customer engagement, including the entire journey, which involves implementation, daily activities, and growth. She will also be responsible for ensuring the long-term value creation for the customers using the Corelight platform.

Amanda Berger is a leader with over 25 years of experience in cybersecurity and SaaS firms. She has experience in the AI, e-commerce, and business intelligence sectors. This means that she has the skills to help Corelight continue growing.

“Amanda has spent her career turning customer trust into measurable business outcomes, and that’s exactly what our customers expect as they scale their use of Corelight’s platform,” said Brian Dye, Corelight CEO. “As security teams take on an increasingly complex, AI-driven threat landscape, they need a partner who ensures the value of network evidence compounds over time. Amanda’s track record of building world-class customer organizations makes her the right leader to help us deliver on that promise at scale.”

Strengthening Customer Success for AI-Driven Security Growth

Berger worked as the Chief Customer Officer at Employ, HackerOne, Lucidworks, and RichRelevance before taking up her position at Corelight. In these firms, she established customer retention and growth strategies. Additionally, she was able to create highly successful customer teams.

In the beginning stages of her career, Berger was a leader in the professional services team at Guidance Software and MicroStrategy. Guidance Software developed EnCase®, which is a popular digital investigation and endpoint security software. MicroStrategy serves as an AI-enabled Business Intelligence Company.

“What drew me to Corelight is how directly its customers connect the platform to outcomes: faster investigations, fewer blind spots, real confidence in their defenses. That’s rare in security, where evidence often gets lost in noise,” said Berger. “My focus will be making sure that trust translates into measurable value at every stage of the customer relationship, from onboarding through renewal and expansion, particularly as AI is creating a state of constant vulnerability and attack and the need for ground truth data is even more critical.”

However, Corelight is continuously expanding both its management and cybersecurity platform. For instance, Corelight recently appointed cybersecurity expert Hatem Naguib as a member of its board of directors. The company has also appointed Tenable co-founder Jack Huffard as an advisor. Moreover, Corelight has further extended its Open NDR platform by including passive asset classification and network performance monitoring. Due to which, Corelight continues providing quality network data to security teams for AI-powered security operations.
