Deloitte and HRCI have jointly launched a new academy designed to upskill and certify HR professionals, according to a joint announcement on May 21. The initiative targets CHROs and their teams, helping them build both technical capabilities and leadership competencies to stay competitive in a rapidly changing work environment.

“As workplace dynamics evolve faster than ever, HR professionals must stay ahead of the curve to effectively support their organizations,” said Kyle Forrest, Future of HR leader and principal at Deloitte Consulting LLP.

The HR Academy offers a diverse range of learning pathways, catering to various roles within HR — from entry-level practitioners to senior executives. The program includes in-person training, strategic advisory services, and tailored learning experiences to foster continuous development.

Designed as a strategic resource, the academy equips CHROs to train their teams and nurture a culture of lifelong learning. In the face of growing AI adoption across HR functions — from automating recruitment to transforming learning and development — the need for accessible, future-ready training has become critical.

Industry experts have emphasized that 2025 will demand a workforce skilled in adaptability and ongoing learning. As AI tools increasingly handle legacy training materials and streamline hiring processes, HR leaders must prioritize upskilling to remain effective in a tech-driven future.
