DXC Announces Leadership Changes to Drive Its AI-Centric Future

DXC

DXC Technology has announced new leadership appointments to advance its AI-centric leadership strategy and strengthen its future growth plans. The company aims to simplify operations and improve value delivery for customers, partners, and employees.

Paul Taylor is now the President of DXC Technology. He will replace Raul Fernandez in his position of CEO, but he remains the CEO. In addition, Dan Gray will be the President of Global Infrastructure Services (GIS).

On the other hand, Ramnath Venkataraman will still be heading CES. Ray August will still be heading ISB. The two will still report to Taylor along with Gray. The appointment is in line with DXC’s continued emphasis on AI-centric leadership and its core and fast track strategies. Additionally, the company has announced the appointment of Holly Grant as President of AI Innovation and Strategy & LabX. The new program aims to develop AI-native platforms.

“These appointments put new AI-centric leadership front and center at DXC and accelerate our dual Core and Fast Track strategy,” said Raul Fernandez, Chief Executive Officer, DXC Technology. “Paul’s entrepreneurial mindset is exactly what we need to unify our commercial and operating organizations so we can fully leverage our world-class technology and execute with greater speed, accountability and customer focus. He will enable us to deliver even greater value for our customers as they transform their businesses. Paul and Dan, together with Holly Grant, who was announced earlier this week as President, AI Innovation and Strategy & LabX, each bring a proven ability to build, simplify and deliver at scale. Together, they will accelerate the momentum we’ve created for our customers, with our partners, and for our people. I also want to congratulate Chris on earning an exciting new opportunity and thank him for his years of dedicated service and leadership. I’m proud of what he has accomplished and pleased he will continue to contribute as a founding member of our new CEO Advisory Council.”

Taylor will be in charge of the global operating business of the company as the President. His duties will involve the growth of customers, execution of business, profitability, and service delivery. Additionally, he will handle operations in all the company’s global markets and business units.

Taylor has over 30 years’ worth of experience in technology and business leadership roles. Prior to this, he had been working with financial markets and enterprise technology groups. Moreover, he had founded HUB, an AI-enabled fintech firm. In addition to this, Dan Gray will be leading GIS, with his 19-year experience with the company. He had been the Vice President & CTO of GIS until recently.

“DXC has an exceptional customer base, great people with deep technical capabilities, and a unique opportunity to help many of the world’s largest organizations modernize and transform through AI,” said Taylor. “By bringing our markets and global offerings together under one operating organization, we can move faster, execute more effectively, and deliver greater value for our customers. Our focus will be on driving sustainable revenue growth, strengthening customer partnerships, delivering operational excellence, and creating measurable business outcomes for our customers. I’m excited to work alongside our teams around the world as we build on DXC’s strengths and unlock the next phase of value creation for our customers, employees, and shareholders.”

Gray has managed large technology operations in the past. This is because his expertise covers cloud computing, cybersecurity, infrastructure management, and business process services. He will be crucial in helping the company hasten AI-enabled services implementation. In summary, these changes in leadership positions will strengthen the efforts of the company in building AI-oriented leadership..
