Forescout Technologies has named Tsuyoshi Kitagawa as its new Regional Director and Country Manager for Japan. The company is expanding its presence in the Asian cybersecurity market. Kitagawa will focus on expanding and enhancing the company’s presence in Japan. The cybersecurity market in Japan is changing quickly due to the new Active Cyber Defense Law. The law will come into effect in stages by 2027. Organizations will have to report security incidents and allow for the mitigation of threats. With an increasing number of interconnected IT, OT, and IoT systems, security is a growing concern.

Country Manager Japan at SonicWall and leading business growth at Ivanti Software. He has held various positions in ServiceNow Japan, FireEye, Dell Technologies, and Symantec as well.
