Google-Backed Glance Enlists Former Verizon Executive Ashim Sen to Accelerate Telecom Growth Across the Americas

Telecom Growth

Google-backed consumer technology firm Glance has announced a major executive addition today. The company tapped Ashim Sen as the new Vice President of Americas Growth and Revenue. Specifically, he will lead the crucial Telecom Operator Business division. This strategic move aims to drive Glance Telecom growth throughout North America and Latin America.

Currently, Glance is expanding its partnerships with mobile operators, OEMs, and connected TV providers. The platform builds innovative AI-powered shopping experiences. These solutions help consumers discover products easily before they even start searching. Consequently, this technology transforms user interactions across mobile devices and television screens.

Expanding Strategic Partnerships

In his new role, Sen will manage the entire telecom portfolio across the region. He intends to deepen relationships with leading mobile operators. Furthermore, this initiative will bring advanced AI experiences to millions of new consumer screens.

Sen previously worked at Verizon, where he managed the device monetization business unit. In that role, he oversaw on-device consumer experiences. He also directed key partnerships spanning app distribution, adtech, value-added services, and mobile commerce. Therefore, his deep industry expertise will directly support current Glance telecom growth initiatives.

“Mobile operators are becoming an increasingly important part of how consumers discover AI-powered experiences,” said Mansi Jain, COO of Glance. “As we expand across the Americas, we are investing in leaders who understand the ecosystem and know how to bring new technologies to market at scale. Ashim’s experience building strategic partnerships at Verizon will help us deepen our operator relationships and bring Glance to millions more consumers across the region.”

Strengthening Regional Leadership

Sen joins a growing regional leadership team led by Rajat Wanchoo. Wanchoo serves as the Group Vice President for the Americas and Europe at InMobi. Recently, InMobi has expanded Wanchoo’s mandate to fast-track next-gen agentic AI initiatives.

This leadership team collaborates closely with mobile OEMs, operators and connected TV providers. They also partner with leading hyperscalers and AI commerce marketplaces. Together, these executives will oversee expansion plans for both mobile and CTV business lines. This collective effort will undoubtedly drive long-term Glance telecom growth.

“Ashim understands something that’s becoming increasingly important to our business: how to identify new consumer experiences, bring them to market through operator partnerships, and scale them into meaningful commercial platforms,” said Wanchoo. “As we expand Glance across North America and Latin America, that combination of product intuition, commercial execution, and telecom expertise will be instrumental to our next phase of growth.”

Notably, Sen brings over ten years of professional experience to this position. His background focuses heavily on building successful telecom, media, and adtech partnerships.

“I’ve spent much of my career evaluating new on-device experiences and helping operators bring technologies to market that create meaningful value for consumers,” said Sen. “What drew me to Glance is the opportunity to help shape the next generation of those experiences. AI is fundamentally changing how people discover content and commerce, and mobile operators have an important role to play in bringing that transformation to millions of consumers.”

This onboarding aligns perfectly with Glance’s expanding distribution ecosystem, which continues to accelerate global telecom growth. The brand continues to form lucrative partnerships with leading device makers and connected TV platforms. For example, recent partnerships with Samsung, DIRECTV, and Motorola are driving tremendous telecom growth by extending these AI commerce experiences. These partnerships are effectively putting interactive solutions into millions of new consumer touch points worldwide.
