Marsh has appointed Birgit Boykin as the Chief People Officer for Oliver Wyman and Marsh Management Consulting. She will join the company in the capacity of CPO from October 1, 2026. Birgit joined Oliver Wyman as its Chief People Officer for the Americas in the year 2025. In the role, she has worked on the growth strategy of the Americas and performance management. She has also contributed to building leadership capabilities at the Human Capital unit of Oliver Wyman. Going forward, Birgit Boykin will work with all leaders of Oliver Wyman and Marsh Management Consulting.
People Strategy Expansion
As part of her expanded responsibilities, she will be designing the people strategy for the two companies. It will support their growth strategy and wider business aspirations. She will also be working towards attracting, developing, and retaining the best talent possible. Furthermore, she will enhance the colleague experience through all the important employee lifecycle stages. These stages include hiring, onboarding, staffing, performance, and career development.

Boykin worked with BlackRock for 8 years before joining Oliver Wyman. She held the position of Managing Director and Global Human Resources Business Partner for Technology & Operations at BlackRock.
Boykin has had other positions as well while working with BlackRock. Before joining BlackRock, Boykin worked with Booz & Company, now known as Strategy&, for 13 years. Her positions included Global Partner Affairs at Booz & Company. Her experience includes people strategy, human resources, and global organizations.
