Farzad Moghbel as VP of Technology Products

Michael Baker International recently announced a major addition to its executive leadership team. The firm welcomed Farzad Moghbel as the new VP of Technology Products. This strategic hire aims to strengthen the company’s digital solutions and engineering services. Moghbel will oversee the end-to-end product strategy for the entire organization. He will also focus on aligning technology services with current market trends.

His role sits within the Chief Technology Officer’s organization. Moghbel will coordinate across the family of companies to deliver high-value technologies. These efforts will maximize client impact and return on investment. Furthermore, he will accelerate modernization across cloud and data systems. He also plans to expand the firm’s artificial intelligence capabilities.

Prior Industry Experience

Moghbel brings nearly a decade of leadership experience to this position. He previously served as a Cloud Strategy-Technical Product Manager at Hexagon. There, he modernized platforms and improved overall system reliability. He also held a leadership role at Mimik Technology. At that firm, he led digital platform modernization for several global industries. His work spanned the automotive, energy, and health sectors.

The new VP of Technology Products holds a Master of Science in Engineering. He earned this degree from the University of Ottawa. Additionally, he studied at the MIT Sloan School of Management. He also completed software development training at the University of Toronto. This background will support the firm’s 5,100 employees across 90 locations.
