Nicola Lyons Leads HR Transformation at Getlink

Importantly, Lyons’ career spans across global logistics and tech-driven organizations. She began her journey in 2001 with the Bouygues Group in London. Later, she joined Fujitsu, where she became Deputy Director of Human Resources. In 2009, she joined GEFCO, handling HR for the UK and later expanding her influence across the Benelux region. By 2015, Lyons had taken global roles, especially in freight forwarding, operating between Paris and the Netherlands. Each role sharpened her ability to navigate complex, multicultural workforces.

She returned to Paris in 2020 as Chief HR Director for the EMEA region and soon took over Integrated Logistics HR. In 2022, Lyons joined CEVA Logistics as SVP for European HR. This last role elevated her executive expertise even further. Now at Getlink, she applies these insights to drive employee engagement, growth, and strategic alignment. Moreover, her dual academic foundation—Applied Languages from the University of West London and Human Resources from Coventry University—gives her a versatile skill set.

Lyons is known for building inclusive, high-performing teams. Her experience working in fast-paced, evolving industries makes her the ideal fit for Getlink’s future-forward HR strategy. Beyond policies and systems, she believes in shaping a culture where people thrive. That belief aligns with Getlink’s commitment to sustainable mobility and human-centric growth.

Her appointment comes at a time when the company is scaling operations and transforming its organizational approach. Lyons will not only support this change—she’ll help lead it. Her presence ensures that Getlink’s human resources evolve alongside its infrastructure and service models.
