Opportune has strengthened its energy advisory capabilities by appointing Raymond Wong as President of Ralph E. Davis & Associates. The unit specializes in petroleum engineering and reserves appraisal. Furthermore, the recruitment will solidify the company’s position as a leader in the ever-changing energy industry.
Wong comes to Opportune from Cantor Fitzgerald, where he held the position of Managing Director. In addition, Wong has more than 30 years’ experience in petroleum engineering and asset appraisal.

Strengthening Energy Advisory Leadership
As part of his new job duties, Wong will be responsible for overseeing the strategy and operations of the company. In addition, Wong will increase the range of services in the areas of reserves assessment, underwriting, and market analysis. Thus, the clients will receive more in-depth information throughout the energy supply chain using the energy consultancy services offered. Wong is a Petroleum Engineer from the University of Texas at Austin. He also completed an MBA in Finance from Duke University. In addition, he is actively involved in many industry associations.
