SourceNow has launched a staffing supplier marketplace to connect staffing companies with enterprise buyers seeking qualified workforce partners. The digital platform helps suppliers increase visibility while giving organizations a centralized way to discover staffing providers.
SourceNow focuses on workforce solutions, managed services, and supplier solutions. The latest addition to its SourceNow Marketplace is now available for registration by staffing firms.
Suppliers are able to show their skills, industry knowledge, geographic location, job classifications, and certifications, while buyers can select suitable suppliers based on their workforce requirements.
In the old days, recruitment firms would depend upon referrals, networking, and sales for acquiring corporate clients. But the challenge was that the smaller firms were unable to identify their clients. This is where SourceNow created its marketplace solution.
Improving Supplier Visibility and Access to Opportunities
“Some of the best staffing companies in America are companies you’ve probably never heard of. Not because they aren’t exceptional at what they do, but because they haven’t had the opportunity to get in front of the right buyers,” said Jean-Paul Renard, CEO of SourceNow. “A staffing company can be exceptional at finding talent, delivering results, and taking care of its people, yet still remain invisible to organizations that desperately need its services. We believe opportunity should be driven by capability, not simply by who you know. That’s why we built SourceNow Marketplace.”
Renard explained that the company wants supplier opportunities to depend on capabilities rather than existing business connections. The marketplace supports this approach by giving staffing providers a dedicated space to demonstrate their expertise.
Suppliers can register for free and create detailed business profiles. Additionally, optional Premium subscriptions provide enhanced visibility and promotional opportunities.
Also, there is a new concept of SourceNow Verified, which is given to suppliers that have undergone a documentation-based evaluation for their business identity, active business status, and qualifying credentials. The SourceNow Marketplace has the following workforce classifications: healthcare, IT, trades, light industrial, and professional services.
Connecting Marketplace Access With Workforce Management
The marketplace also connects with SourceNow’s broader workforce management ecosystem. Organizations using SourceNow VMS can access the marketplace within their vendor management system environment.
Moreover, SourceNow MSP assists businesses in managing supplier performance, controlling costs, governing workforce, and enhancing efficiency. In total, the solutions integrate technology, workforce strategy, and suppliers.
“Companies don’t need another database of staffing agencies. They need a better way to discover the right workforce partners, and suppliers need a better way to get in front of those companies,” Renard said.
He added that integrating the marketplace with existing services creates a more connected approach to workforce management.
Supporting Growth Across the Staffing Industry
Marketplace was created by SourceNow for existing staffing companies and new niche vendors. With growth, SourceNow intends to extend its supplier discovery, verification, matching, and workforce intelligence functions.
“We’ve spent years helping organizations manage their external workforce more effectively,” Renard added. “Now we’re expanding that mission by helping the staffing companies that serve those organizations become more visible, more connected, and better positioned for growth.”
Ultimately, SourceNow aims to help workforce buyers find suitable partners while giving staffing companies more opportunities to grow.
