Sprinklr Board of Directors will welcome Jordi Ribas, Ph.D., effective August 17, 2026. Ribas currently serves as President of Search & AI at Microsoft Corporation. He brings extensive experience in product development, engineering, and artificial intelligence.
Ribas has worked at Microsoft for more than 26 years. He currently leads product, engineering, and growth teams for Microsoft Bing and Web IQ.
Web IQ is the search engine that Microsoft uses for its agents. The team led by Ribas created Microsoft’s first Copilot. This has been instrumental in defining Microsoft’s generative AI strategy. Their technologies power Microsoft Azure, Office, and Windows, as well as partner products such as OpenAI’s ChatGPT.

Ribas Brings Extensive AI and Product Leadership Experience
In addition to that, Ribas has authored more than 50 technical papers. These include 25 journal articles and 20 U.S. patents. In addition, Ribas has authored technical papers on ISO MPEG-4 and ITU H.264 standards. He has won the Young Investigator Award from VCIP for his contributions to video compression technology. He is an engineer qualified from Spanish and American educational institutions.
