T-Mobile Names Chris Sambar Chief Enterprise Officer to Drive Next Phase of Growth and Innovation

The T-Mobile Chief Enterprise Officer appointment signals a major step in advancing growth and innovation. T-Mobile appointed Chris Sambar to become the new Chief Enterprise Officer, starting from October 2026. This position shows that the company is concerned with growing its enterprise and government segments. Moreover, this position helps align the leadership team with strategic goals.

Sambar comes to T-Mobile from Public Storage, where he worked as COO. In the past, he has worked for 20 years at AT&T, overseeing significant network and enterprise projects. Sambar was responsible for the development of 5G network and the FirstNet public safety network. Thus, he will be useful to T-Mobile as it expands into new territories.

“Chris is a seasoned wireless industry leader with proven experience including expanding high-growth businesses and seizing market opportunities. Advancing Enterprise Growth and Next-Generation Innovation

T-Mobile also appointed Andre Almeida as the Chief Marketing, Brand, and Broadband Officer. He will be responsible for driving wireless and broadband growth among consumers in this position. On the other hand, Dr. John Saw will manage the networks, technology, and engineering departments. Consequently, T-Mobile hopes to fast-track innovations in AI and 6G technologies.

He will remain in a strategic advisory role through December 2026 to support a seamless transition.
