Yardstik has raised $30 million in Series B funding to strengthen workforce fraud prevention. The latest round brings Yardstik’s total capital raised to $65 million.
This financing round was spearheaded by Harbert Growth Partners. Other existing investors include Rally Ventures, MissionOG, Crosslink Capital, Grotech Ventures, and Great North Ventures. Yardstik plans to apply the investment towards its fraud prevention and workforce monitoring technology. They plan to upgrade their motor vehicle reports and OIG exclusion monitoring.
The system will also provide automated reminders for license, insurance, and certification expiration dates. This will assist organizations in recognizing any threats in their workforces in advance. According to the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, occupational fraud generally takes 12 months to be discovered. Their 2026 report also revealed that tips disclose 43% of frauds.
Traditional background screening often focuses on the hiring stage. Therefore, employers may miss risks that develop after workers join their organizations. Yardstik combines fraud detection, background screening, and continuous monitoring. The platform covers the workforce lifecycle and helps employers track emerging risk signals.
“The legacy background check industry was built around a single moment in time, even though workforce risk changes every day,” said Andrew Johnson, CEO of Yardstik. “This investment allows us to move faster toward our goal of equalizing access to modern workforce protection. Fraud signals before a check runs, monitoring after someone is hired, and real-time credential visibility should not be premium add-ons. They should be the foundation of every trust program.”
Yardstik Expands Continuous Workforce Monitoring
Yardstik recently launched Fraud Insights and Continuous Monitoring for all customers. The company provides both capabilities without additional charges. Fraud Insights offers a live view of workforce fraud risk signals. Meanwhile, Continuous Monitoring automatically enrolls screened workers in post-hire monitoring. As a result, employers can reduce manual rechecks and missed monitoring periods.
“If a motor vehicle report comes back with something disqualifying, we don’t wait for the next renewal cycle to find out,” Johnson said. “If a license lapses the day after someone’s hired, an employer should know that day, not at the next annual review. That’s the difference between a photograph and a live feed.”
Yardstik reported 149% year-over-year revenue growth and a 99.4% customer satisfaction rating. Its customers span gig marketplaces, staffing, healthcare, transportation, logistics, and childcare. The company also ranked No. 861 on the 2026 Inc. 5000 list.
“Background screening remains a crucial part of our hiring process, but the risks employers face have evolved significantly over the past decade,” said Nic DeHaan, SR Director of Agent Experience at Liveops. “Yardstik has helped us take a more proactive approach to identifying fake identities and credentials. It has helped us recognize and prevent a significant number of bad actors trying to exploit our hiring process. Their technology gives us greater confidence that the people joining our platform are who they claim to be.”
Yardstik integrates with platforms including Greenhouse, Lever, Workable, Fountain, Bullhorn, Avionte, and Paylocity. Its API-first infrastructure also supports embedded and white-label fraud prevention services.
