Zoom APAC leadership takes a strategic step forward as Zoom Communications, Inc. appoints Carlos Quaderi as Head of Asia Pacific. The move supports the company’s next phase of AI-powered growth across the region. The appointment becomes effective on 1 August 2026.
It clearly reflects Zoom’s continued commitment to APAC as one of the major markets for its expansion. Additionally, firms throughout the region are becoming more reliant on AI-driven systems to simplify their processes. Such systems are not only useful in helping teams speed up from communication to action but also in enhancing productivity. Quaderi will report to Graeme Geddes, the Chief Sales and Growth Officer at Zoom. He will spearhead the company’s go-to-market strategy in APAC, covering ANZ, Asia, India, and Korea, except for Japan.
Zoom Strengthens AI-Powered Growth Across APAC
In addition to that, Quaderi handled operations for Southeast Asia, Hong Kong SAR, and Taiwan. However, now Quaderi will be taking care of APAC and will be closely aligned with the leadership of the company globally. This includes the areas of customer experience, SMB growth, and channel expansion. With Quaderi’s more than 30 years of experience in the industry, he has been associated with companies like Workday, AWS (Amazon Web Services), and Microsoft.
He will continue to be based in Singapore. Meanwhile, he will also oversee Zoom’s Asia operations during the transition period.
