Deel Unveils ‘The Pitch’, a $15M Global Founder Tournament to Find the Next Generation of Borderless Founders

Deel Launches The Pitch

Deel, the global HR and payroll platform, has announced the launch of The Pitch, a 15 million dollar international startup tournament for founders worldwide. The Pitch program is for seed-stage companies, and it invites entrepreneurs from all regions of the world to compete on merit, innovation, and aspirations.

Multi-Stage Structure

The competition proceeds at different stages in some major global locations, thereby offering equal opportunities to the founders, irrespective of the location. Up to a hundred regional winners will receive an investment of 50,000 dollars to advance early product development and market traction.

These regional finalists will advance to a global round, where selected startups will compete for significantly larger funding opportunities.

Global Finals and Judging

In the global finals, up to ten winning companies will each secure 1 million dollars in investment to support long term growth. There are judging panels that consist of global investors, experienced operators, and ecosystem leaders. Deel created The Pitch to address funding disparities that often advantage or disadvantage entrepreneurs irrespective of their skill level. The initiative aims to ensure opportunities are based on merit rather than structural bias. This tournament thus sought to create an equal platform for the rising entrepreneurs around the world. The application process is open to participants worldwide. The program includes seven active regional finals, which will culminate in a final event in May 2026. The program is championed by leading organizations such as JPMorgan, a16z, Google, and Stripe, to name a few.
