Legion

The Legion Workforce Management platform has introduced more than 90 new innovations with its Spring 2026 Production Release. Legion Technologies announced the latest update for its AI-native workforce management software.

The new release expands capabilities across Scheduling, Time and Attendance, Employee Lifecycle Management, Labor Planning, and Platform and Reporting. Additionally, the platform continues to strengthen its AI capabilities for frontline workforce operations.

The new release has added the AI Upper Field Schedule Assistant. It comes alongside six more AI Assistants, which are already out in the production environment. The six are Schedule Assistant, Expression Assistant, Authoring Assistant, Translation Assistant, Forecast Explainer, and Shift Explainer. Besides, the Workforce Management platform remains committed to enhancing decision-making processes. The managers get to leverage real-time data and automation through artificial intelligence.

“With this release, we’re not just adding features, we’re giving frontline operators the real-time data and AI-driven automation they need to make better decisions every day, from scheduling to compliance to employee safety. It reflects what we hear from customers: workforce management software should get out of the way and let managers focus on their people,” said Jayashree Varahan, Head of Product, Legion Technologies.

Expanding AI-Powered Workforce Management Capabilities

The new Legion AI Upper Field Schedule Assistant is an expansion of the current Schedule Assistant. The tool can be used by area and district managers handling more than one location. Moreover, it generates performance reports and highlights areas that need improvement. The tool also recognizes any trends that could suggest problems within scheduling or training. The tool operates based on the manager’s level of access.

Additionally, the company introduced Employee Safety Management features. Employees can confirm their safety through a single tap in the mobile app. Missed check-ins automatically trigger escalation processes.

The release also includes KPI Productivity Metrics in Employee Rank. This feature brings real-time performance information into scheduling decisions. It replaces manual ranking methods and improves workforce visibility.

Additionally, Access to Hours Notifications facilitates Fair Workweek Compliance. Managers are able to send out specific location notifications from within the Schedule page. They can also track employee responses without manually doing it. The new Punch Capture feature captures clocking actions in real time. This is possible even if the employees log out before they complete other actions. The Document Hub makes it possible for employees to access key documents, including pay stubs and other documents.

Moreover, the company has improved its compliance and localization services worldwide. This version is beneficial to multinational companies dealing with workforce management in different regions. Generally, the Workforce Management platform provides an illustration of the increasing use of AI in managing workforces. This Spring 2026 Release is one such illustration.
