Eightfold AI has introduced a new annual Labor Day initiative named “AI Career Day” for job seekers. Under the scheme, free access to Eightfold AI Interviewer is available for the purpose of practicing interviews. The participant needs to take an AI interview, which is about five to ten minutes long, and get personal feedback. There is no need for any job posting, application, or resume.
This initiative comes at a time when graduates and job seekers are looking at a more competitive job market. Moreover, there is an uncertainty among the entry-level job seekers regarding their future career prospects. As stated by the 2026 Graduate Report by ZipRecruiter, “50.6% of the rising graduates predict AI to cut down the entry-level positions.” This is where the need for AI Career Day comes in, because we are going to transform this uncertainty into preparation. With the help of AI interview simulation, participants will be able to discover what they are good at before they attend an actual interview.

AI Career Day Process
AI Career Day gives job seekers an easy way to have some practice interviews. Participants do not have to apply for the position. Nor do they have to submit their resume and make connections with the open position. Rather, participants get an opportunity to take the sample screening interview via Eightfold AI Interviewer. Subsequently, participants will receive constructive feedback which they can use when continuing their search for employment.
The program became available on September 7 at 9:00 a.m. ET. This event is open to everyone who is at least 18 years old. Participants do not need job requisition, application, nor their resumes to join the program.
The practice interview lasts about five to 10 minutes. In general, the main objective of AI Career Day is to make interview preparations more convenient and give job seekers a positive way to reach a major career milestone.
Privacy and Ethical AI
According to Eightfold AI, this project adheres to the participant notification notice released during the time of registration.The information collected through interviews will not be forwarded to employers. Moreover, Eightfold AI will not use interview information to teach its models. It states that it will delete the information after 30 days.
Participants should be 18 years old to participate in the experience. Moreover, AI Career Day operates under the Responsible AI program from Eightfold.
This program adheres to the guidelines of fairness, transparency, and safety designs issued by the organization. Third party audits also back these practices. These include a bias audit in line with New York City’s Local Law 144. There is an AI ethics council that advises on responsible AI practices at the organization. AI Career Day will enable Eightfold AI to provide interview practice experiences to job seekers. It will also help job seekers gain personal insights for career development.
