Brazilian Businesses Automate Digital Workplace Operations

Brazilian organizations are progressively implementing automation of their digital workplace environments for better experience of employees as well as efficiency of business. Information Services Group (ISG) has emphasized this trend.

The ISG Provider Lens™ Future of Work Services 2026 research report highlights this trend in relation to workplace technologies in Brazil. In its findings, the report has identified that Brazilian organizations view workplace technologies as a part of their corporate strategies. Brazilian enterprises operate under economic pressures of the economy as well as the cost of imports and complex operations due to the large geographical expanse. Furthermore, Brazil’s digital labor force could reach 32.5 million professionals in 2026, representing 31 percent of employed people.

“Workplace economics are changing in Brazil as companies look beyond labor savings to the business impact of technology,” said Bill Huber, ISG partner, Digital Platforms and Solutions. “The emerging standard is an environment that delivers enhanced functionality, prevents problems, adapts to demand and delivers an employee experience that can be measured alongside cost.”

Today, Brazilian organizations connect digital workplace employee experience with productivity and talent retention. That is why many organizations implement hyperautomation, agentic artificial intelligence, and self-healing technologies. These technologies are capable of identifying and solving technology-related issues in the workplace even before they affect employees. Besides, these technologies can cut down the involvement of humans in solving complicated situations by up to 50 percent.

AI Drives Digital Workplace Automation

Moreover, companies are using more front-end AI, omnichannel platforms, and virtual assistants. Customer service is one of the main sectors that use these technologies. These technologies can help reduce operating costs and workplace complexity. However, these technologies help Brazil move towards automation. Companies are also adopting consumption-based and as-a-service models. These models enable digital infrastructure to be scalable depending on organizational needs.

Besides, such models can ensure more predictability of finances in uncertain economic times. On the other hand, security and sustainability have become more significant factors in the adoption of workplace technologies. Classic service-level agreements are being replaced by experience-level agreements on the part of technology vendors.

Vendors should be able to showcase the efficient implementation of AI solutions as well. Having solid security credentials is another requirement. The decisions regarding workplace technology are made not only by the IT department but also by the HR and finance departments. These investments affect employees’ productivity and real estate expenses.

“Brazil’s size makes workplace transformation as much an execution challenge as a technology challenge,” said Elia San Miguel, lead author of the report. “Enterprises need partners that can combine increasingly autonomous support with the operational reach required to deliver a consistent experience across highly distributed environments.”

In addition to this, the report analyses future-of-work trends in the case of Brazil, which includes the adoption of Zero Trust Security Architectures. Enterprises are also demanding increased connectivity and support within distributed agribusinesses. These needs arise from the country’s growing dependence on technology-driven workplaces. The report reviews 32 different vendors in four quadrants. These quadrants include Workplace Strategy & Enablement Services and Digital Workplace Operations & Support Services.

The other two quadrants include AI Augmented Collaboration & Experience Services and Smart & Sustainable Workplace Services. DXC Technology, Stefanini, and Unisys have been designated as leaders in all four quadrants. On the other hand, Accenture, Atos, Kyndryl, and TIVIT are Leaders in three quadrants.

Capgemini, Getronics, NTT DATA, TCS, and Wipro lead in two quadrants. Deloitte and Infosys lead in one quadrant.    Capgemini, Getronics, Positivo S+, and TCS emerged as Rising Stars. According to ISG, these companies have attractive portfolios and bright future prospects. Infosys earned the ISG CX Star Performer award for 2026. Infosys has obtained the highest customer satisfaction rating among workplace services vendors.

This award has been based on ISG’s Voice of the Customer survey, which is a component of the ISG Star of Excellence™ initiative. The 2026 ISG Provider Lens Future of Work Services report is available to the subscription community and also for purchase.
