HiBob Provides Trusted Organizational Intelligence to Microsoft Entra for Smarter IT Workflows

Organizational Intelligence

HiBob will now be bringing organizational intelligence to Microsoft Entra via integrations with Microsoft’s identity system. These integrations help companies to automate their employee onboarding and offboarding, as well as any other workforce changes. This news emphasizes how important it has become for the correct employee data to be available for modern IT infrastructure. AI can do much more when the business provides accurate organizational intelligence. All the identities, access rights, and workflows rely on the correct data about the workforce.

The integration of HiBob with Microsoft Entra ID allows companies to automate identity lifecycle management for cloud-managed identities. However, the integration of Windows Server Active Directory (Hybrid) allows these workflow processes to be extended in hybrid environments. Hence, companies are able to tie up worker information to their existing IT infrastructure. HiBob is capable of connecting the HR information to the IT system by extending the people context trusted by Bob in Microsoft Entra ID.

HiBob Extends Organizational Intelligence Across IT Systems

Ronni Zehavi, CEO and Co-Founder at HiBob, explained the company’s approach to organizational intelligence.

Ronni Zehavi, CEO and Co-Founder at HiBob, says: “For too long, organizations have treated people data as something HR owns exclusively. The truth is organizations don’t need HR systems that occasionally talk to IT; they need trusted workforce context that continuously informs the technology running the business.”

He continues: “The future isn’t about connecting more applications. It’s about giving every business a trusted understanding of the organization. That’s what Organizational Intelligence means, and that’s why we’re extending Bob beyond HR into the systems IT already depends on.”

Microsoft also highlighted the value of connecting workforce changes with identity management.

“Every workforce change starts with people data, but its impact extends across the organization,” said Udi Milo, Partner PM, Access Management and Governance, Microsoft. “HiBob’s integration with Microsoft Entra helps customers turn changes in an employee’s role, status, or responsibilities into timely identity and access actions, giving HR and IT a more connected way to manage the employee lifecycle.”

Now that AI is revolutionizing workplaces, reliable information on the workforce is emerging as crucial business infrastructure. Disconnected systems and manual approaches may cause delays and inhibit innovation. Accordingly, companies require connected systems that provide for security, automation, and AI usage. This product integration is meant to assist companies in developing such infrastructure with their current technology.

This innovation also highlights the significance of organizational intelligence within HR and IT processes. Companies can enhance workforce processes and technology integration through the connection of employee and identity systems.
