TeamViewer Recognized as a Leader in IDC MarketScape 2026 for Digital Employee Experience Assessment

Digital Employee Experience

TeamViewer has been recognized as a Leader in the IDC MarketScape: Worldwide Digital Employee Experience 2026 Vendor Assessment. This designation is a testament to TeamViewer’s strengths in providing digital workplace experiences.

This designation marks the second time that TeamViewer has received recognition as a DEX Leader within the span of a month. In addition, it comes amidst increasing adoption of TeamViewer ONE, TeamViewer’s IT management solution.

The IDC MarketScape evaluated vendors using their current capabilities and future strategies. The assessment looked at how companies assist organizations to generate productive and connected digital employee experiences. Consequently, the Leader position held by TeamViewer is due to its platform strategy and investments in AI and automation.

The core of TeamViewer’s strategy is TeamViewer ONE. The platform integrates Remote Connectivity, Employee Digital Experience (DEX), and Autonomous Endpoint Management (AEM).

“Enterprises need visibility and automation that work together across hybrid and frontline environments, not in isolation. TeamViewer’s recognition as a Leader in the IDC MarketScape reflects an integrated approach to digital employee experience that connects endpoint intelligence to measurable business impact,” said Phil Hochmuth, Research Vice President, Endpoint Management & Enterprise Mobility at IDC.

TeamViewer ONE Advances AI-Powered Autonomous IT Management

Through the integration of live data on endpoints and agentic AI, TeamViewer ONE assists companies to enhance their IT operations. In addition, the connection between issue detection & resolution through the platform ensures that companies transition from reactive to autonomous IT management.

This recognition coincides with high demand for TeamViewer ONE from enterprises. TeamViewer has succeeded in securing contracts and winning expansions with several large customers. These include airlines from across the globe, aviation technology companies, financial services, healthcare organizations, and government entities.

Furthermore, the DEX platform of TeamViewer received the “In Process” status from FedRAMP®. The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs is the sponsor of the platform. This is a step forward for TeamViewer to make its product available for U.S. federal agencies with stringent security policies.

“Enterprises are under real pressure to manage growing endpoint complexity while keeping people productive. With TeamViewer ONE, we set out to close the gap between detecting an issue and resolving it by pairing real-time endpoint data with agentic AI to move IT from reactive support toward autonomous operations. Being recognized as a Leader in the IDC MarketScape is a strong signal that this direction is resonating,” said Mei Dent, Chief Product & Technology Officer at TeamViewer.

According to the IDC MarketScape, TeamViewer emphasized autonomous endpoint management and automation capabilities. The report also mentioned the contribution made by the platform in terms of decreasing the interval from issue identification to problem solving. The use of business impact analytics was also pointed out.

Overall, TeamViewer continues strengthening its position in Digital Workplace Experience solutions. Through AI innovation and automation, the company helps enterprises create more efficient and connected IT environments.
